Lunch Break at Let Live Conference in Portland

It's about time to head back to the conference.

I spent yesterday attending two different talks. One regarding HLS (SHAC activism) and the other talk was over the AETA (Animal Enterprise Terrorism Act).

I went to the first one because of Josh Harper mostly, as he worked with SHAC and he's become something of a friend over the past three years. He'll be getting out in about two weeks from his half way house in Seattle. I'm happy for him and wish I wrote to him one last time before he got out because I was sort of put in the corner by my parents after some people came over to question me over the letters and support. Pretty lame.

The AETA was actually what he was arrested under. I went to that talk because it was given by Peter Young, an ALF prisoner that I have a lot of respect for. He's a great speaker and I'm glad I got to be around him and listen to what he had to say.

Today I've only attended one talk so far. I learned about proxies. I'm still not sure what the fuck they are though. Here is a site he told us about: http://www.proxy4free.com/ I best get back!
