Spokane Pride events are taking place from June 4-13.

Today, Saturday, June 8th there will be a Gay Pageant: Leather and Lace. It’s 21 and over, sadly. Not that I’ll be able to make it since I’m babysitting (It’s an overnighter).

Not a big fan of pageants anyway.

What I’m really looking forward to is the Pride Parade on the 13th that starts at 11:00AM and begins at Dempsey’s Brass Rail, 909 W. 1st. Avenue. I’m not sure if you have to be 21+ to get in for the staging or maybe everything will be outside.

Too bad my rainbow flag is all packed up... Be there if you can to show your support for the Spokane GLBT community.
